The greenteQ new building window profile with masking edge has a side limit stop as well as a masking edge. The side limit stop serves for the precise positioning of the window profile on the window frame. It can, where required, be broken off. The masking edge is self-adhesive and serves for securing a masking film in order to protect the window against contamination during plastering such as from plaster splashes. The masking edge can, where required, be bent upwards if there is not a lot of space available. The masking edge is fully removed (broken off) once plastering work is complete. The greenteQ new building window profile with masking edge can be used both indoors and outdoors. A specially shaped profile made from hard PVC with a special double-sided adhesive sealing tape (permitted sealing tape expansion > 200%) continuously absorbs any stress that occurs.
Bothersome cracks in the plaster on the window are prevented. In addition, plaster and mortar residues cannot get into the expansion space behind the window.
